The monkey has jumped off my back..

Ahh thank god more hellish run at work is finsihed , just workin the day before and new years then have the rest of january to do what ever the hell i like .

Me and the lads have been talking about many socially minded projects such as quizing pub going bogans on there knowlege of the origins of khe sahn , attempting to slide down the seats of a movie theatre on a matress , doing an improv poetry reading complete with bongo's at borders bookstore and trying to hook j nizzle up with the molly ringwald look a like at our local video shop.

Im also helping out my mate ruys aka " Pedro larusso" aquire some gigs arounf melbourne. Saw him play a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly shocked by his great voice and songwriting abilities , its good to help out a mate and even better to be playing around in the music world again , music is like a back bone in life , it keeps me up right so its good to be in the mix of things again like back in the old days , hopefully the ball gets rolling.....

Other than that the other big news is my imminent change of location with the lady friend , moving a couple of suburbs away and i know im going to miss baysie in the biggest way , not the area ..but my mate s who all live walking distance away and have had some great times just drivin around the area or sitting at the local pub..Thats probly not gonna happen as frequently anymore but im gonna try and get down to the old hood as much as i can , luckily nudge just lives right around the corner so there will be a familiar face about..

Anyway jazzcats tip of the week is Antony and the johnsons , this guy is a skinny little whitye boy with the soulfull voice of a black man the size of barry white with some absolutly huge guest appearances such as lou reed and rufus wainwright , do ya selves a favour and check it out

anyway im sure ill catch up with everyone over the summer as i have muchos time on my hand , so if anyones ever bored and has some wacky idea give me a call ,
Also thoughts go out to pimp daddy quick on his holidays in canada im sure you got mates over there but im also sure it cant be easy spendin the holidays away from your baysie family , best wishes bro and take care
